Facebook is adding a new Manage Activity tool, which will help users to easily sort multiple posts in one place. The company informed in its blog post that this feature will first work on the mobile version and the Facebook Lite app and after that, it will be made available for the desktop version.
The Manage Activity feature is part of the Activity Log section and helps users post archive or trash in bulk. In its blog post, Facebook also stated that working on this tool will continue.
Facebook Manage Activity tool
According to the Facebook blog post, the purpose of the Manage Activity tool is to help users manage their old posts easily. It archives the old content of users, which is present on Facebook for the user but cannot be seen by other users. Apart from this, users can also trash their old posts, in which your post will be visible for 30 days and then it will be deleted forever.
However, users can also manually restore or delete them. Both these options will be used in bulk, which means that users can manage all their old post-filters at once. These filters include categories, dates, and people.
How to use Facebook Manage Activity tool?
To use the Manage Activity tool, you must first go to the Activity Log section, then to Manage Activity. Here you will see all your posts, with two options – Archive and Trash. You have to select all the posts separately, after selecting the post you have to choose either option.
Facebook has stated in its blog that this feature has been added to the “mobile and Facebook Lite app”. It is worth noting that currently the management activity tool has gone live on the Facebook Lite app, but soon it will be made available on the mobile version as well.
